American Doubles Review

American Doubles Review

At 2 o clock things were not looking good for the first annual American Doubles event since 2002, the rain had started to pour and it did not look like there was any chance of the event taking place let alone a 3 o clock start time. The competitors obviously had no faith in the British weather as Tom on reception was inundated with phone calls from people asking if the event would be cancelled. Tournament organiser’s Mark Eade and Dave Da Costa were on the other hand full of faith and they even promised Jayne to would get the burgers out of the freezer because the rain would stop. To give everyone a little more time the event was delayed to 3 30.
