Dave Marray, CCA - Head Tennis Coach : Head of Performance Tennis (BTCA)
£25 per hour coaching plus court fees (see below)
Dave started his tennis career as an accomplished player, winning Yorkshire County titles as a junior. He moved into coaching at the age of 18, and now has been a qualified CCA coach for 6 years. During that time he has added 2 Yorkshire men's doubles titles to his playing record. Dave's route has always been performance coaching, and he gained unique experience in 2002 by coaching a top British player to 420 in the world. In 2003 Dave worked for the LTA as a travelling performance coach, working with top British junior talent. Dave now brings this experience to both the Club's junior and adult members. Dave manages the Adult and Performance Programmes.
Jason Torpey, CCA - Head Tennis Coach : Head of Development Tennis (BTCA)
£23 per hour plus court fees (see below)
Jason is 25, and has been a qualified coach for 7 years. He played professional tennis for 4 years, obtaining world doubles ranking, and represented England in the 4 Nations Championships in 2003. Since joining the Club in 2004, he has coached players to county championship titles, as well as coaching players to junior and senior international standard. Jason manages the Junior Development Programme.
Mark Eade, DCA - Assistant Tennis Coach (BTCA)
£17 per hour coaching plus court fees (see below)
Mark is 23. He represented the NE Region as a junior, and was a finalist in the U18 Yorkshire closed doubles. He is a regular tournament player with a rating of 5.1, and is currently the Sheffield & District Doubles Champion. Mark graduated in Sports Management at Sheffield Hallam University in 2004, and was a member of the Men's 1st Team.
Mark Swinburn, TA - Professional Hitter and Tennis Assistant (BTCA)
£12 per hour hitting plus court fees (see below)
Mark is 26, and is currently taking his DCA. He has played county tennis for Nottinghamshire, as well as competing in British Tour events and his current LTA rating is 4.2. Mark is now working with a variety of standards at the club, from beginners who want to improve their skills to national standard players.

An extra group fee of £6 is payable per player, for more than 2 players in a lesson.
Cancellation fees for lessons and courts may be applicable for late cancellation.
Players must become members of Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club after 5 lessons.
